Weather conversation

Weather is the post topical subject in conversation in Ireland! That is a fact! Is it because we like to make some sort of communication with a stranger or because we were all born meteorologists??

The weather is strange in Ireland. Never rains more than a few days in a row and never shines the sun more than a few days(In the year I think is what he meant). Well so an American said to me! I just thought "Listen son spend more than a week in the summer and that will put your theory right out the fuinneog(window!)"
So as I look out the window to a nice, mild, winters afternoon I wonder how long before somebody will say something aboout the weather......I'm thinking seconds!
